The Happy Couple | Dallas Wedding Photography

After a crazy run around of phone calls and vacations, I finally met up with these two love birds for their engagement session before their wedding this weekend. It was so wonderful to put a face to names and get to know them better.

I wanted to whip out this sneak tonight knowing they'd be anxious and might not have time later on to see the pictures before their wedding. As such, it's 2 AM and I'm beat so we're calling this a short post at the moment.


Thanks for a wonderful evening and I can't wait for the wedding on Saturday!

Upcoming Schedule

To help you all sort through some of the crazyness of my traveling and moving I was prompted to post it all in one spot. I will be in Ann Arbor, MI from August 21st until September 15th.

Now onto the second part of the post, I want to hold a Holiday mini session for those of you interested in having some custom Holiday cards made to mail to your family and friends. This will be in October and will only be for Mini sessions. Look for details posted soon!

Ann Arbor Boudoir

I'm planning another trip to Ann Arbor late this summer and have posted session info on the boudoir blog, and will be posting information on here as well soon. Have a few ducks left to line up before I officially announce dates but it looks like it will be a fabulous summer!

Boudoir Session Reminder

Just a reminder that we are having a Boudoir session in May on the 17th. I have only a few spots left so if you are interested you need to contact me quickly to reserve your spot. Each session will last about 1.5 hours and be enough time for 3 - 4 outfits. You will receive roughly 40 proofs to view online at your convience. The cost is $75 to book your spot and packages start at $395.

Note - Change in Pricing

There will be a change in pricing and packages for all sessions booked after May 1st including a flat session fee of $100 for all sessions regardless of length.

If you'd like to book at our current rates, you have until the end of April to do so. Please note that you will only be promised our current rates if we receive the booking fee before May 1st. Look for more information about our new rates in the next week.

April is BOOKED

Sorry guys but right now I am unable to take on any new sessions until mid May. *does NOT apply to the April Boudoir Hotel Session - there are still a few sessions available*

Please try to schedule your appointment approximately 4 - 6 weeks in advance to ensure your desired date is available. In order to maintain quality control, I only schedule a select number of sessions a month so you should contact me NOW about your summer sessions to make sure I have an opening available.

On the flip side, I'm really, really excited about so many of you wanting a session that I have to make a public announcement about the lack of room in the inn.

If you are unable to wait until late may for your session, please contact me and I can send you the names of several local photographers I know and trust to take care of your session for you.

April Boudoir Photography

Surprise! (and this is no April Fool's joke) Due to high demand I am opening a few slots for an April Boudoir session at a fantastic little hotel in the DFW area. Each slot is for 2 hours in front of the camera. Your reservation fee is $100 to reserve your time slot and packages start at $295. The sessions will be held on April 11th and 12th.

This is an amazing price and fantastic location sure to create some stunning photographs. I will only have enough time to take a few sessions so please, please contact me ASAP in order to reserve your spot. These will be first come first serve and I would hate for you to have to wait another month or two because you hesitated.

And as always, the bubbly is on me!

My, My...

I have had many requests for more information about my hotel boudoir sessions so I thought I would make a public announcement of sorts. ;-)

Boudoir sessions run about 2 hours long for 3 outfit changes. Can't decide? Bring them all and I'll decide which ones I like best. Shopping is fun!

I am currently taking names for my next hotel session, I am trying to get this organized for early May, and will be on a weekend. One of the ladies I was going to be working with this Saturday has had to cancel. So now I have ONE slot left for our Boudoir Photography Hotel Session. This is a 1.5 hour slot with unlimited outfit changes hosted in a local hotel in Fort Worth.

March Hotel Boudoir Session

The weekend of March 14th & 15th I will be hosting Boudoir sessions in a Fort Worth hotel room. Sessions will be $75 for 1.5 hours, with the fee good towards prints or a price of a package. Boudoir packages start at $295.

New changes coming up.

It's 11 PM on a Friday night and I'm sitting here working on catching up on some amazing senior sessions I've done over the last few weeks. Yes I'm THAT behind at the moment. Finals this semester have really kicked me in the rear so I'm thankful I decided to take the whole month of December off in anticipation with this.

Speaking of, have you all heard of Pandora.com? It's my favorite music player when I'm up at night working while the rest of the house is quiet as a mouse.

I must admit I'm dissapointed in myself for not keeping up with things here on the blog. Part of my lack of posting is being unsure how many people are actually here looking at this, so, starting next year, I'm going to be posting a monthly special to keep you all on your toes. It'll be really GOOD too, not just a "free 8x10", no. This special will be something so cool. I just can't tell you what they'll be yet. ;-)

Other changes happening will be some shifting around of my packages and pricing. Like the saying go, the only things promised in life are death and taxes. Since my last (first) year in business has been so amazing and things are only looking up, I'm going to go ahead of get rid of some of my promotional packages and just rearrange things to include popular items. I am excited to show you some new items we'll carry as well. It's going to be so fun.

Another huge change is that I am accepting weddings. I have two booked already and more inquiries coming in. I will offer three more weddings at a special promotional price so if you or someone you know is interested please have them get a hold of me soon.

Speaking of, I have a bridal session tomorrow with Miss K so I should get to bed soon so I will be bright eyed and bushy tailed and on my "A" game tomorrow.

Gosh we've been busy!

It may seem like we were slacking but really we weren't! Sarah Anne Photography partnered with antoher photographer to bring you Whimsical Loft Designs, a design template shoppe for photographers. It goes live on the 15th so shhhhhh don't tell yet! ;)

Another reminder that there will be NO appointments made for Texas sessions in December. Starting November 15th we will be accepting bookings for the 2008 calendar year.

Apologies & Excuses

I'm sorry for the lack of posting this week. I've been hit hard with allergies, sinus infections and bronchitis. A couple days flat on my back, a night at the Doctor's office, a few x-rays and breathing treatments and finally I'm starting to feel a little better. Thank goodness too because it's just in time for the busy Senior season.

Which brings me to the point of this whole post, I wanted to announce that as of tonight I have ONE time slot available in October for a session. So, if you've been hesitating to book but want to have your pictures with some of the gorgeous fall colors that are coming up, stop waiting! I only offer a limited amount of bookings each month to make sure I'm able to give each session my full attention from start to finish and I can only squeeze in one more in October.

I will be online most of the evening working so you may call or email to book your appointment. Also, another reminder (I feel like a mother here...) all Holiday card orders MUST be in by November 15th.
